Todays been our our first real day in Uganda! After almost 20 hours of traveling we arrived in Entebee last night around 11 local time (we’re 7 hours ahead of our regular time). We checked into our hotel, touched base with our friends and family and went to sleep!
This morning we woke up and had a nice breakfast in our hotel then got picked up by a driver from Kitovu. We drove to Kampala, the capital of Uganda, and exchanged money. Eileen and TJ tried Mandazi, a Ugandan fried dough treat. We then continued on to Masaka. After a long 2 days of traveling it was nice to finally settle into our hotel. After unpacking we explored the city of Masaka and ate some local food for dinner.
